Resin volume × density = weight in grams. Adding supports inflates volume by 10–30% depending on model overhang. Price per mL = bottle price ÷ bottle size, and cost per print = mL with supports × price per mL.
Density varies more between resin types than brands — flex/tough/ceramic-fill resins can hit 1.20+ g/mL, while plant-based eco resins sit around 1.05.
