Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Redmoon Converters collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Redmoon Converters ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and is run by Redmoon Software. We care about your privacy and try to collect as little personal data as possible. This page describes our practices in plain language.
The short version
- Our calculators and converters run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in are not sent to or stored on our servers.
- We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to show ads (Google AdSense).
- We only receive personal information you choose to send us — for example, when you submit feedback.
- You can control cookies and ad personalization at any time (see Your choices).
Information we collect
Information you provide
If you use our feedback form, we collect the message you write and, optionally, your email address (only if you choose to enter one so we can reply). Along with that message we receive standard technical details to help us prevent abuse and reproduce issues: the page URL you were on, your chosen language, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address. This information is emailed to our team and is used solely to read and respond to your feedback.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our third-party providers automatically collect some information when you visit, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools described below.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to understand how the site is used and to support advertising. We also use your browser's local storage to remember preferences such as your light/dark theme. You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.
Advertising — Google AdSense
- We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google's policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as your IP address and usage patterns on our behalf. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy. Where enabled, we may also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the website and its tools.
- To respond to feedback and support requests you send us.
- To measure traffic and understand which tools are useful.
- To display advertising that helps keep the site free.
- To detect, prevent and address abuse, spam and security issues.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the site work — for example, Google (advertising and analytics), our hosting provider (Cloudflare), and the email service that delivers your feedback to us. These providers process data on our behalf and have their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- Adjust or block cookies through your browser settings.
- Opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices.
- Use a browser extension or "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control signal of your choice.
- Simply don't submit the feedback form if you'd rather not share an email address.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
International visitors
We operate from outside the EU and the data we and our providers process may be transferred to and stored in other countries. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. To exercise any such right, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
